We currently have a cat in our care that may require an alternative home where they can live an outdoor lifestyle while being provided food and shelter. The kind of homes we're looking for are something like farms or stables, but we're also open to other options such as a secure shed in a garden so if you think the environment you can provide is safe and suitable please get in touch.
To take a cat like this you will need to provide them with regular food and somewhere safe, dry and sheltered to rest on a daily basis. Initially the cat will need to be kept contained for a period of 4-14 days while they get used to the change of environment and then gradually released to ensure their safety. All cats rehomed in this way will be healthy, microchipped and neutered at the time of rehoming.
How to apply to adopt:
If you think you can provide a suitable home for a cat or cats like this please complete our application form: RSPCA Felledge Alternative Cat Home.
If you have any problems completing the form please call us on 0191 389 2176 or email at felledge@rspca.org.uk.
We are unable to give any specific details about the individual cat(s) at this time but we will aim to provide photos and more information prior to their adoption. There will be no specific adoption fee but a donation towards their treatment and care would be much appreciated.
